Scripture: Matthew 4:1-11
So many moments of irony in life. The world is against us, but so often we look for ways to imitate it. We try to master our own sinful flesh, but then it is our own desires that wage war against our soul. And when it comes to the devil, we fall into temptation again and again. What we really need is a champion. God the Father realized it too. He sent his Son to be our Savior. Through the obedience of the Son of God, I have victory. In today’s message we remember how Jesus fielded every doubt with the clear Word of God. Jesus was faithful for us.
