The Value of Experience
Series: From One Generation to Another
Scripture: 2 Timothy 1:3-14
“Why am I still here?” On more than one occasion we’ve heard this question from people in our senior ministry. Behind the question is a longing for value and worth. In today’s sermon we’ll explore the important role God gives to the experienced Christians among us. Surprisingly, it’s not based on physical ability or ‘getting it all figured out’. It is often the frail, broken, and weak in the world’s eyes that have the most impact and wisdom. They have the most to share when they’ve learned to rely on the Lord. If we’re young, we need to connect with our elders. If we’re old, we need to connect with the youth. Check out today’s sermon to find out more.
