It would be strange to go to a cactus to look for apples. It would be a bad idea to look for grapes on a thorny briar bush. Jesus and his teaching are like a tree that gives life. His words bear the fruits of goodness, faithfulness, self-control, and love. This message is a call to listen to Jesus’ voice and put his words into practice so that his life and abundance flow out through us.
