PASTORS AT CROWN OF LIFE
Pastor Steve Koelpin
Yucaipa Campus

Pastor Steve Koelpin was born and raised in Tucson, AZ. He graduated from Luther Preparatory School, Martin Luther College and was ordained into the ministry at Crown of Life in 2012 after graduating from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary.
He has a strong desire to help individuals and families connect with their Savior and develop a deeper understanding of God’s grace. His passion is for teaching others the foundations of the Christian faith and preaching on Sunday.
Aside from preaching and teaching, Pastor Steve oversees worship and outreach and all of Crown of Life campuses and serves as our coordinating/lead pastor. As a native to the southwest he has developed a love for all things outside. From BBQ to hiking, camping and fishing he is all about seeing the wonder and majesty of God’s created world. He is also into watching college and professional football and basketball.
His serves at our Yucaipa campus where he lives with his wife Katie and their children ages 4, 2, and 1. His wife Katie was a teacher for a few years at a local elementary charter school but since has moved into being a full-time mom. Pastor Steve and his family love living in Yucaipa and enjoying all the amazing things the community has to offer.
Pastor Eric Hansen
Corona Campus

Pastor Eric Hansen joins us all the way from the frozen tundra of Green Bay, Wisconsin where he had served as discipleship Pastor for 9 years. He and his family are really excited about exploring California through all the family and community activities at Crown of Life!
Pastor Hansen grew up as the son of rural dairy farmers in Kiel, Wisconsin and graduated from Luther Preparatory High School, Martin Luther College, and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. Life on a farm and many years of schooling instilled in him a strong sense of work ethic and integrity. He’s the kind of guy who will do his best to be there for you as an ear to listen or a hand to help.
Pastor Hansen will tell you he takes great joy in those “light bulb” moments – when people’s faces light us as they understand God’s Word. When not at work or with his family, he likes to tinker, repairing, and fixing all sorts of things, such as cars, the house, the yard, and computers. You may also see him cruising around on his dirt bike or hiking a local trail.
Family is a big part of Pastor Hansen’s life. He enjoys exploring God’s amazing world with his wife Heidi and 3 children. The oldest son is all about reading, basketball, video games. His middle daughter loves pink and sparkly things and pretty much has dad wrapped around her figure (although he’d never admit it). His youngest son is all about cars and trucks and everything with wheels. It is such a joy seeing the blessings and challenges that come every year as they grow physically and spiritually by the grace of God.
